District 16 state Assembly race grows more heated

After several months of relative calm, the 16th Assembly District race has turned fiesty — and flush with donations — in the run up to Election Day.

Over the past month, more than $2 million has poured into the war chests of Republican Catharine Baker and Democrat Tim Sbranti, allowing the candidates to bankroll a massive, increasingly negative campaign.
