Peng Shao joined the firm in 2018. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and intellectual property disputes, including employment litigation, trade secrets misappropriation, complex business and commercial disputes, and patent disputes. Peng advises clients in a broad range of industries, including, information technology, life science, green energy, agricultural, and entertainment companies, in complex federal and state court litigation.
Peng received his J.D. from the University of California, Davis – School of Law. During law school, he served as an Executive Editor for the UC Davis School of Law – Business Law Journal, as an Executive Board Member for the King Hall IP Law Association, and represented UC Davis School of Law in various Moot Court competitions. Peng also served as captain for the UC Davis SOL’s Soccer Team, and led the team to victory in the UC Davis Intramural Soccer Tournament. Prior to law school, Peng received a B.S. in Biology from the University of Kentucky. He is also published in the Journal of BioChemistry.
Prior to joining Dhillon Law Group, Peng served as a Legal Fellow to the Honorable Benita Y. Pearson of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. He is admitted to practice in the state of California, and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
