Counsel

Christin Vasquez is a battle-tested litigator with a proven track record of success in high-stakes civil rights and constitutional litigation. She brings extensive trial experience as lead counsel, having tried more than a dozen jury and bench trials, taken and defended critical depositions, drafted winning dispositive motions and appellate briefs, and secured favorable resolutions through mediation and strategic negotiation.

At Dhillon Law Group—a nationally recognized firm sought out for its aggressive defense of conservative principles, individual liberties, and constitutional rights—Christin focuses on protecting clients in civil rights, constitutional law (including First Amendment matters), employment law, and whistleblower/retaliation cases. Her deep government-side expertise defending state agencies and employees against complex claims, combined with her direct communication style, legal acumen, and relatable approach, helps clients confidently navigate challenging litigation.

Christin served more than a decade at the Texas Office of the Attorney General in senior leadership roles. Most recently, as Deputy Chief of the Law Enforcement Defense Division, she specialized in defending the State in large and complex civil litigations, including DOJ investigations into state agencies and high-profile wrongful death cases. She managed a docket protecting the State’s interests against complex 42 U.S.C. § 1983 civil rights claims (First Amendment, due process, equal protection, medical deliberate indifference, excessive force), Title VII employment claims, ADA matters, and tort claims on behalf of state agencies and employees.

At the height of covid in 2020, Christin co-led the defense in the high-profile class action Valentine v. Collier. Despite an adverse ruling at the district court level, Christin and her team secured a decisive victory on appeal when the Fifth Circuit reversed the district court’s permanent injunction and rendered judgment in favor of the defendants (Valentine v. Collier, 993 F.3d 270 (5th Cir. 2021)), successfully defending Texas prison officials against constitutional claims related to covid-19 measures.

As Deputy Chief of Litigation of the Consumer Protection Division, Christin led aggressive enforcement actions, including landmark “Big Tech” cases resulting in multimillion- and billion-dollar settlements for the State (e.g., $8 million Google Pixel settlement and contributing to the $1.4 billion Texas v. Meta biometrics settlement).

Christin has extensive experience in employment and retaliation matters through her defense of state agencies and employees, as well as her broader constitutional litigation background. Christin is passionate about protecting her clients’ Constitutional rights and preserving their interests against government overreach. Christin is the fierce and principled litigator that you want in your corner.
