Dhillon on Impeachment Inquiry

Impeachment Inquiry

Harmeet Dhillon

Harmeet Dhillon Appears on FNC’s ‘The Ingraham Angle’ To Discuss the Impeachment Inquiry

According to Dhillon (Video Transcript):

Yeah, that’s right. It isn’t – they don’t just say it’s tantamount, they say it is obstruction of justice, Laura. This is the most Orwellian flipping of the normal presumptions of innocence that you could possibly have but if it goes hat in hand with the other things that they are now saying. In the face of this letter, they’re saying for example that the president doesn’t have the right to examine witnesses, the president doesn’t have the right for there to be a vote on impeachment before the House delegates its authority to look at impeachment, the president doesn’t have the right to confront those witnesses, the president doesn’t have the right to counsel. I mean, these are all, these would all be anathema if it were anybody but Donald Trump facing this tribunal yet they’re willing to shut off the Constitution and do that to the detriment of future presidents and future proceedings in the House with legitimacy of both of these branches of the government. That’s how hell-bent they are on destruction Laura.

Right. Yeah. They can taste if they wanted. These people are ignoramuses. That’s not how it works. How it works in real life is they’re going to have to get the U.S. Attorney’s office to come actually come in and do this job. The house pokey that they are referring to was eliminated some time ago because it violates due process. These has all been litigated. These people have no sense of history, no sense of shame. And, bringing it back to what Alan was just saying, Laura, this is really about them not liking the 2016 election and they’re trying to interfere with the 2020 election. This is purely political and these people are shameless. This is – people are going to look back on this episode and how the Democrats handled themselves and how they abandoned due process and civil rights, and they’re going to look at in shame, Laura.

Thanks Laura.
